National Cycling Strategy

The Australian Bicycle Council publishes a National Cycling Strategy every 5 years.  The purpose of the Strategy is to coordinate the activities of various agencies across federal, state and local levels to deliver agreed-upon goals for cycling in Australia.

The current Strategy is the National Cycling Strategy 2011-2016.  The Australian Bicycle Council manages and coordinates the implementation of the Strategy and reports annually on progress to the Transport and Infrastructure Council.  These annual reports can be downloaded from the following pages:
